About Green Rated

Green Rated is the UK’s independent directory of verified green energy installers and repair engineers — covering solar panels, heat pumps, battery storage and EV chargers across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Why we built it

Two things are broken in green energy. First, trust: certification logos get claimed that were never earned, and directories will list anyone who pays. Second, repairs: everyone wants to sell you a new installation, but when your existing solar system or heat pump stops working, finding a genuine repair specialist is strangely hard.

Green Rated fixes both. Every company’s credentials are
checked against the official registers before they’re
listed — and repair engineers get equal billing with installers.

What makes us different

• Checked first, listed second. Certifications are verified at the official source, with the verification date shown on every profile.
• Repairs matter here. Vetted repair and servicing specialists, including excellent engineers the installation-only directories ignore.
• Independent. Not owned by an installer group or energy company, and no adverts — ever.
• Placement is never verification. Companies can pay for a clearly-labelled Featured spot, but every company passes the same checks, and verification can’t be bought.
